Bijaya Acharya is a Research Intern at NAAMII under Dr. Taman Upadhaya, having recently completed his BSc (Hons) in Computing from Softwarica College of IT & E-Commerce, affiliated with Coventry University. His research focuses on machine learning approaches for handling real-world imbalanced datasets. His work encompasses the complete machine learning pipeline, from data preprocessing and feature selection to cross-validation and model building. With a particular focus on the healthcare sector, Bijaya aims to contribute to early disease detection systems that can make significant impacts on patient care and outcomes.
