His research examines the role of digital technologies in organizational and societal value creation, the emergence of digital firms and their impact on innovation ecosystems, and the societal implications of mass AI adoption. He has particular expertise in how emerging technologies inform policy development in developing economies. Dr. Pathak is developing a research agenda focused on Nepal's emerging IT industry, emphasizing competitiveness and the dynamics of Kathmandu's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
